MIRACLE AFTER MIRACLE

January 13, 2014

So this was the first week of the transfer and I have loved every second of it!!!
My new district is.. Elder F and he is training Elder N,  Elder D and Elder G and me and Hermana N.  It´s been fun, I don´t know Elder N too well yet, but I will soon!
So last P-day was a festivo!! Super bad... everything was closed! But we got e-mailing done, and bought some water at least. We ate at Subway! (I have been craving it for a while now) Definitely not as good as the one in Gunnison, but it was alright.  On our way to a chino, Hna. P like collapsed. She was breathing really hard and I told her to calm down and slow down. She said she couldn´t control it. Neighbors were coming out, and one lady was saying she was going to call the ambulance. Hna P said it was fine, and then she calmed down. It was like a panic attack. The elders came and we just sat there for a while until she calmed down. Then we went to say goodbye to some people and they wrote in Hna. P´s journal, then we went to the R's for FHE. It was a super good lesson about pride. I loved it. I learned so much that I didn´t think was related to pride.

Tuesday we went to visit a few members that Hna P wanted to see.
We saw E.. We talked to her a little, and she said, ´´I know this church is true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. If I feel like I need to go on a mission after my baptism, I will”.  Super cool!! She´s so great! (: We saw A and she just cried when she hugged Hna. P. We were supposed to eat with M and L, but they forgot. After medio-dia, we went to E´s and had her write in Hna´s journal. Then we had correlation, but our mission leader decided he just wanted to have a testimony meeting.   Then we had English class then Family home evening. After FHE we talked with the missionaries and then got Kebab.  We walked back home and said goodbye to Elder E because he was leaving in the morning earlier than everyone else. It was really sad. I cried when we walked away from him.

Wednesday we went to the bus station and so many missionaries were there. Almost all .. from our zone.
A, a member from ward one and E were there to say goodbye too! We said goodbye, then I went with the SHE´s. We went to their house. (which is SUPER nice) to study, then we went to some lessons. I love teaching with Hna C. I can understand some things that Hna. Johnson learned from her! Then I went to eat with them at a member´s house. It was a lot of fun to be with them. Then they brought me back to my piso and T stayed with me until we went to the station to pick up Hna. N. After bringing her suitcases back to the piso, we went to meet E. She was really in a good mood and connected super fast with Hna. N. We invited her to English class and she said that she´ll come if we walked with her. Then we went to eat at A’s. She is a member and one of the ward missionaries. We ate hot dog things and then chocolate. Her daughter drove us home so that was nice!

Thursday we had weekly planning. Then we went to pick up my package from Pono. Guess what! i had to pay 33 euros for it. But he sent me a watch. It´s really cute! I´ll take a picture of it and send it to you. I love it. After that, we went to A´s and shared Helaman 5:12. We fed off each other super well... it was great and A loved it. Then we stopped by B’s (investigator with 3 kids that are investigators too) We taught L1 with one of the kids. She is a talker, but she knows tons about the Bible. Then we came back to pick up E for English class. We showed her around the chapel and then had the class. She said she liked it, and wants to come again on Tuesday. After that we went to see if we could see G. She was home, but really different. We talked to her and asked how things were. She said she is good, but really tired. When we asked her to offer the prayer she said no, that she isn´t herself and she can´t. I just want to cry. I don´t know what to do about her.
Friday we had zone meeting. Hna R is in my zone!!!!! I love her so much! We talked lots and she is just super cute! I´ll have to take a picture with her soon! Then HNA JOHNSON walked in and I went and gave her a super big hug!!!
She gave me a little present from Marta and Gonzolo and their parents, and gave me a hug from everyone in Huelva. We sat by each other in the conference and someone handed me a hymn book and I didn´t look up to see who it was. Then Hna Johnson said, “Did you see Elder Nunez?´´  I freaked out!! I was so excited to see him! We talked after the conference for a little bit, and then went to Dominos. The SHEs had a cita so they couldn´t come :( but Elder Núñez and I talked for a long time about everything that is going on! On our way back from Dominos we got stopped by a man who asked who we were. He said he wanted to know more. His name is I. After medio-dia we went to see R. She is one of our new investigators, but she is really sick. She laid  in bed and we brought her yogurt and her pills and water. Then she said to go make us some hot chocolate. It was a little awkward, but still great! She is a sweet heart. She offered us a key to her house haha... we´ll just have to ask her neighbor to let us in.  After, we RAN to our cita with M and L. We invited the zone leaders so we could ´´pass them off´´ We had a great lesson. Then after, we explained that the elders would be teaching them. M was a little sad and thought it was because they were a little ´´difficult´´ We explained that that wasn´t the reason at all.. then L said, ´´when you come into a home, you come into a heart.´´ It was a little hard, but we had to do it. After that, we went to E´s. She didn´t read from Ether, so we read with her. We stopped at vs. 6 and I shared a little bit. I said that I´ve had things happen in my life that was a ´´trial of my faith´´ I then went on to say that something happened to me when I was just a little girl. After, E said, ´´wow, I didn´t know that happened to you. That happened to me too.´´ She opened up to us and started to cry. We asked her to be baptized, and she accepted a date of Feb. 8!! I´m excited to work with her.

Saturday we had a lesson with C. She had moved her ´´site´´ but we found her. We taught a little more about L1 and proper authority. She accepted the date of Feb. 8th too! We have got to work with her and help her get to church. After medio-dia, we had a lesson with I, (the one who contacted us on Friday). We taught a L0 and Book of Mormon. He enjoyed it, and asked if he could actually have the Book of Mormon in English. He asked, ´´that´s what it was first translated in right?!´´ he´s great! I love him already. After his lesson was the baptism of E!!!! Whooooo.
She looked gorgeous. I cried when she came out of the water with a huge smile on her face!! I´m so happy for her. She really changed her life around! I stayed for the baptism and he said he really liked it. I played the piano, so I didn´t get to talk to him much, but Hna. N talked and explained a lot. After the baptism we went to teach MC and MR. MR had so many questions, we want to see her by herself so we can actually have time to teach MC. After the lesson, MR told me that my Spanish is SO MUCH BETTER!! It made me so happy!!

Sunday was great! even though I didn´t come to church, it was a great day. In sacrament, I translated for this family who is from Philipines. They only speak a little English, but that was really fun. After church we saw a few people, and then went with the Elder´s to give A the sacrament. She looked really good! I hope she is doing better!

This week was great! We´ve seen miracle after miracle. I love the diligence of Hna. N. We are already great friends! I´m so happy!
Today we should have a bunch of people come to the FHE tonight! It should be great!!
Love,
Hermana Sara Brown

HAPPY NEW YEAR

January 6, 2014

Happy New Year!! I hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating the holidays with your families. I know this Christmas has been one of my favorite in my life. Knowing that I´m here, on a mission to serve my Savior. It´s such a cool feeling! A few things I want to tell you before I start my letter about my week. I want to thank you Mom for teaching me little things as I was growing up. For example, being respectful to everyone. It´s something that I have noticed being here... People respect me more and listen to what I have to say, when I show them respect. I´ll tell you a few more in the letter I´m going to write today! But just know that I appreciate you so much.
After e-mailing, we went to the chapel and wrote in each others´ journals and watched Mormon Messages. Then we went to send letters. We went to visit C tonight. We taught her a little bit about Goals. We want to work with her so she can achieve what she would like. As we were finishing up, A (a less active who lives in the building that we were by) came up and said that we need to come up to her piso. We didn´t have a lot of time because we had family home evening, but we looked at each other and decided we should. We went up there and taught her a similar thing about goals. She said she wants to quit her job so she doesn´t have to work on Sundays. I taught her a little bit about the importance of the Sabbath Day. I think I was a little bold, but I think she needed to hear it. After the lesson, she told us she felt like she needed to invite us up. I hope she felt good about the lesson.
Tuesday was NOCHE VIEJA or New Years Eve!! We ate at medio dia with G. She is from Columbia and is the Relief Society President. She made us some yummy food, and after we went to visit A. We shared a short message because we wanted to go see someone else, but she said... ´´Do you have to leave already?´´ We stayed and kept her company for a little bit. She´s really lonely so I bet it was a little nice. After going to the chapel to practice our skit for Friday, we all headed to the Ramirez´. We had a fun time with all of the missionaries in our district playing cards and eating grapes at midnight. On every ding dong of the clock, we eat a grape. Elders; Ellsworth and Farrell thought you weren´t supposed to chew them, it was super funny. They kept them in their mouths. It was a pretty fun New Years Eve.
Wednesday we had weekly planning. Probably a good idea, because if we worked we would wake people up or talk to drunk people coming home from their parties. We ate lunch at the Ramirez´ it was my favorite. Soup with chicken and potatoes and yucha.

Wednesday, we had a lesson with E (less active) and it was going well, we were talking about something simple like goals... then she told us that she doesn´t set goals. It was a little weird. I feel really bad, I want to help her strengthen her testimony, but she doesn´t really want it. After, we saw MR and MC. We taught the Plan of Salvation and MC remembered so much! It was super impressive! MR had a bunch of questions. I guess she was baptized into the evangelicals and Jehovahs Witnesses before being a member of our church. I think she has a lot of conflicting information. I want to visit her a lot more and teach the lessons so she has it clear.
Thursday we had a lesson with C. We taught the Restoration in the street. She seemed to understand pretty well. After the lesson, Hna. P asked her if she was okay, she started to cry and told us that she is having a hard time with how her life is. The poor girl, she is usually smiling and having a great time, but I´m glad we were there to be with her when she was down. After mediodia, I had a ´´feeling´´ to stop at the churros place.. it was a joke at first, but we passed by and the churros were being made by a man. We said we´ll pass by later, then as we walked away he yelled, ´´Do you know Joseph Smith?´´ We stopped and walked back over to him. Turns out he was baptized in Murcia and moved to Alicante 15 years ago and hasn´t been to church since. He doesn´t even know where it is. But I think the elders in our ward are going to try and teach him and help him get reactivated. He has a lot of questions about Joseph Smith. After we went and talked to an old investigator. He was home alone without a woman. Hna. P walked in, and I stayed in the doorway. It was a little awkward, but I just ended up telling him that as missionaries we have rules and we still trust him, it´s just that we need to be obedient. I am so happy we didn´t disobey that rule. Even though he was really nice, you never know.
Friday we had to get up earlier and ride a bus to Murcia for a multi-zone conference. It was so nice to see President AND Hermana Deere! We learned a lot. We have a goal this year to baptize 600 people and I know we can do it. President Deere talked to us about using the Atonement as we teach, and help people understand why the atonement was necessary. After hearing them give talks, we ate PAELLA!! So yummy. It was awesome, then we had the talent show. Our district did a skit that was so funny! After the conference, we came home and had a lesson with M. This past week we saw him in the street with an earring. This is the same M that was baptized right before I got here. We decided we´re going to keep teaching him a little bit. After that lesson, Hna P´s feet hurt so we came home.

Saturday we got up and went to the church to help the youth clean. We started at 10 and finished around 3. As I was cleaning the bathroom, Hna. P came in and asked me to guess who the new SHE was going to be. HNA JOHNSON!!! I freaked out. I was so excited! After cleaning, we ate Paella stuff that was super good. Then Hna P wanted to go to the emergency room. We waited, she got x-rayed, and they told her she has tendonitis. They told her to rest for three days. So that´s what we´ve been doing. After the doctor, we went straight home and didn´t do anything until the next day. That night we got a call from President Deere telling Hna P that she was going to Granada and Hna. N is coming here with me. He also told me a ´´secret´´ that I already knew, that Hna Johnson is going to be the new SHE!!!!

Sunday we finally had church at 10 in the morning! It was so nice! I loved it! (: Half of our district is changing. Elder E is going to La Mancha to be a Zone Leader, his compy, Elder F (in my group) is training! Elder D is going to the other side of Spain. And Elder D is our new district leader! It´s sad, but change is good!! After church, we went to eat at G´s. We were there for a long time, because she was preparing the food. Then after we went home. I tried to do some productive things, but it got a little hard. That night, the SHE´s came over to say goodbye and we ate pancakes, bacon, and eggs!

It´s time for a change and I´m really excited! (: I´ve loved my time with Hna. P and I´ve learned a LOT! I´m excited to show Hna. N the area and hopefully with the Lord´s help, be able to strengthen Alicante!

I love you all so much! (; Thank you for your support and love!

Love,
Hna. Sara Brown

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!

December 30, 2013

Merry Christmas to All!!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas this past week! I know I did! (: Everyone is right, Christmas on the mission is great.. and who can say that they´ve spent a Christmas in Spain right?!

Monday was busy. We had to buy a few last minute things for Christmas, and we got a little hair cut. I really needed it, the water here is really bad and it´s ruining my hair. So L (a recent convert) cut it for me for free (: So nice! Then we went and taught M and L a message about Christmas. It actually went really well, no fighting or arguing this time. They had a cute little nativity with a light that was right on baby Jesus! So cute! Then we had family home evening at the R´s. G came again (: The lady who was supposed to teach the lesson didn´t come, so we taught about humility.. and can you believe it... I studied that this morning! Crazy, it was great!! Tuesday was Christmas EVE!!! (Noche Buena) and that morning we had District Meeting. We did a white elephant exchange with the whole zone. It was a lot of fun. I got a book about La Mancha, and I was actually really excited to get it! Better than a silly toy right?! After that we came home, then had pretty good lesson with M (our last one with him) ): he´s a recent convert, so we just finished all the new member lessons. It was about Enduring to the End. Even though we taught the lesson in the portal of a piso (like the staircase) the spirit was still there. After...... we went to the R´s to SKYPE!!! Whoooo so fun! The time flew by, but it was super great to see everyone so happy! I loved talking to you Mom and Dad. I´m glad it was just you two so I could talk and not have the house so CRAZY!! I wish I could have talked all night, but I´m grateful that you all help me in my decision to be obedient. I was thinking about that after, I wonder if some parents are like ´´no just stay on a little longer, it´s probably fine.´´ but you guys weren´t that way, and I really appreciate that!
After I skyped, I was a little sad.. then the Elders came and we played card games and had a good time! We ate (and I must say, I miss the food at home) It´s nice, but I really miss Mom and Dad´s cooking!
We got to stay at the house until 12, then we had to go. We came home, and got ready for bed. I made a little thing for Hermana P, not much.. but I´ll attach a picture. I just cut pieces of paper that said, MERRY CHRISTMAS PARRILLA.
She doesn´t know this yet, but on the back of each of them, I wrote things I love about her. I´m excited for her to read them!! Then the next day was CHRISTMAS!!
We woke up and played some Christmas music and went in to look what Papa Noel brought us. Hermana P started crying when she saw what I had done for her. Then we opened our stockings! I loved the scriptures that came with it! It felt like a REAL missionary Christmas! (: After that... we opened a few of our presents! I loved LOVED LOVED the book with the paintings! Ahh I love it!
Thank you so much for all the gifts, it really was a special Christmas!
After opening presents, we got ready and went to the church. We made an AMERICAN breakfast. With pancakes, bacon, eggs, toast and sweet chili sauce!! (: it was really fun! We watched Mr. Krougers Christmas and it made me think of Dad. I don´t know why, probably because Mr. Krouger is such a happy and optimistic guy! I realized what an amazing father I have! After that, we came back home and later that evening went to T´s house. She is 17 and really sweet, she wants to serve a mission! It was pretty relaxed, even though it was a TWISTER outside!! Good Christmas!
Cute onsie pajamas from the McCarneys!!
Thursday was back to work! We had a lesson with A about goals, it went really well. She said she is going to do her part so Heavenly Father can help her overcome her fear. Then we saw E (our atheist investigator) and her sister M (who is religious). We had a lesson about goals, and E is changing... little by little. Today she told us that she believes that God might exist. And her sister M said that she feels like her life is better and everything is fine since we came into it! Really pretty cool! (: Then we ate with G and M and it was a feast!! Really good  stuff! (: After, we went to give C her Christmas present. She was really appreciative, and super thirsty too. She asked if she could drink some of the fanta right there... she must have really needed liquid. It was nice! I´m glad she could be happy with it. She is the one I used the money from Bown’s to buy something for Christmas! She wanted to tell us something, she said there was a pigeon that was really cold so she took it and put it in her jacket, when we went back later that night to help her bring her things to her house, the bird was still in there.  Super gross. After we saw her in the afternoon, we went to correlation and English class. G told us she used to fight, in Brasil!!! I was not expecting cute little G to do that! Then we went to M ´s house and had a lesson about goals with them. Then we went and helped Cl.
Friday was a good day. We had a lesson with the future we found last week. J. She´s originally from D.R. but lived in America for a while, and now is in Spain with her daughter. She said she was going to come to Church, but she didn´t end up coming, she´s actually not in our area - we had to give her to the Zone Leaders. We were really sad. ): but it´s alright. We went and got Hna F (one of the SHE’s) and knocked doors in our building. While we were knocking, one grandma opened the door without any clothes on. I didn´t see much, but Hna F did! Naked Grandma?? never thought I would see it on a mission. Then we then went to eat at G´s AGAIN! And then we went to have a lesson with M. She gave us some chocolate and shrimp for Hna P.. super nice! Then We asked G if she wanted to come contact with us. As we were waiting for her, we were sitting on a bench, and who walked up... J. She said she is looking for a piso in this neighborhood, (which is our area, so if she moves there we would be able to teach her). I guess if we´re supposedd to teach her, she´ll find a piso! We knocked on her building and one woman from Columbia let us in. (speaking of that... what part did Ben serve in?) We taught her about the Book of Mormon and G  bore her testimony. It was powerful. IT was a super cool lesson. Then we went and contacted in a park, one guy came up to us and said in English , ´´hey i know you guys´´ we were surprised, and got his information. He too is in the zone leaders´area. We did lots of work for them this week!! We had a lesson about the Book of Mormon in the park with a lady named R. She is really sweet, but works a lot. Her grandpa is a member of the church, hopefully we´ll be able to teach her more. She actually is in our area. Saturday was pretty cool... We played sports and it was a lot of fun! I scored my FIRST goal in SPAIN!!!!! whooooo! Later that day was the cool part. We went to MdR’s and her brother and his wife were there. We talked to them and then asked them if they were religous. We taught the book of Mormon and after, I bore a small TINY testimony and honestly I don´t even remember what I said - but the brother , his name is L, said ´´you have a really sweet voice. I can tell when you talk you speak from your heart.´´ he apologized to Hna P and then told me that I (fall well with him) meaning, He has a good feeling about me. It made me so so so so happy to hear. Usually people hear me talk and immediately judge my accent. It was nice to hear, that he actually was listening to what I was saying rather than how I speak. Super cool experience. He wants the missionaries to visit him. He lives in the Madrid mission. It was super cool experience!!

I love you all so much!! I hope you had happy holidays!
Love,
Hermana Brown

ONLY TWO DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!

December 23, 2013

Good Morning best family in the world!!
I cannot believe only 2 days until Christmas!! (: I am so excited! This week has been great! It was our week to find the elect of God. Last week was our preparation week, and this was our week to work!! We witnessed many miracles and I am so grateful that I can be a servant in God´s hands. We had a goal as a mission to find 800 new investigators in one week. We found 847 new investigators in ONE WEEK!! It´s been amazing! I´ll start at the beginning like always (:

Monday! This day was so great.. and I think I began to forget the miracles we witnessed this day as the week went on, but it really was miraculous the things that occurred! After p-day was over, we went to see E (15 yr old Atheist) and at first she didn´t want to let us in, she said she felt nothing when she prayed only (NERVOUSNESS). I couldn´t help but think that, that is kind of the feeling I feel when I feel the need to bear my testimony, or when I feel the spirit. There isn´t really a great way to describe the way I feel, but sometimes it´s a feeling of nervousness. I don´t really know, but I tried to explain that to her, and she didn´t think it was the spirit testifying of anything. She is going to pray for an entire week, without missing a day, and then she will talk to us again. This lesson was special, the spirit was really strong. For someone who doesn´t believe in God, she sure seemed to feel something in that lesson. The miracle that we witnessed, was that as her mother was in the kitchen cooking, she was listening. She then came and asked if she could listen. Her mother is religious and wanted to know more. It was such a neat experience. We ended up having 2 new investigators on Monday.

Tuesday I had a really good personal study. I studied specifically for G
and M, but we ended up not seeing either of them. We went to visit an old investigator named G. She is a little old, but she loves to hear the word of God. She turned out to be a new investigator too. We went to visit a less-active woman and as we were looking for the piso number, a woman opened the door and said, ´´are you looking for someone´´? in English. We talked to her and asked if she would be interested in hearing the gospel. She replied with a happy ´´YES´´. Her name is J and she is awesome! After eating with some members, we went to visit a member, A. Outside her door was a woman named C. She is a ´´begger´´ I guess you would call it, but she is really just trying to provide for herself. She is really sweet, and has a big heart. We had a lesson in the street with her and planned another one in the house of A. We taught the Family Home Evening for our ward. We taught about the scriptures. We had everyone take 5 minutes and write the last letter of their lives to whomever they wanted. After they wrote it, we took the letters - and ripped them up. Their faces were quite sad, because that was the last thing they left behind before they died. It´s like the sacrifice that was done so that we can have the Book of Mormon. I think the lesson went really well, and people seemed to enjoy it!! So this day we had 2 new investigators also.

Wednesday we had district meeting and after we ate an interesting lunch. Lasagna, Hot Dogs, Bread, Cheese, Dr. Pepper (yeah I found some)  and chicken nuggets.
Not super healthy, but we had to work with what we had! Then Elder E and I practiced for our talent. Later we went to have a lesson with C. We taught the Book of Mormon and then gave it to her. She held it close, in silence, and began to cry. She was SO GRATEFUL , I’ve never seen someone be like that after receiving the Book of Mormon. She hugged us and said how happy she was. After, she gave us candy (like the expensive Ferrero Roche) and I could not believe someone with so little, was willing to give us that, instead of keeping it for herself. Really neat day. Even thought we didn´t get any new investigators - it was a day full of miracles.

Thursday we had a lesson with a new investigator, I. It was a really sad lesson, we taught the restoration and he told us he didn´t want to return to live in the Kingdom of God. He wants to be in his own kingdom. I was really sad, I couldn´t believe that. I don´t know how much of our time we´re going to spend on him now. He doesn´t have a desire to be in the presence of God right now maybe later on he´ll realize what he´s missing. Later that night we had a lesson with an old investigator named R. She is really sweet, and said we can come to dinner whenever we´d like! So nice! We ended up with one new investigator this day.
Friday was rough. Every one of our plans failed. We ended up knocking doors ALL day, trying to find someone that wants to hear. But we knocked an ´´atheist building´´ and a ´´super catholic building´´ We have yet to find the ´´building of gold´´ but we know it´s out there somewhere!! We went and saw G later that night, and I´m so glad we did, because she just boosted my spirits with her sincere desire to change. Then we went and had dinner with R (less-active) and she made us Soup.. it was SOUP-er yummy!! We didn´t get any news today.
Saturday we had lunch with J, a non-member who comes to English class every week. He and his girlfriend and her daughter. They made, tortilla de patata (my favorite spanish food in the world, chicken, sliced tomatoes and green olives (which I ABSOLUTELY love now)  and bread and meat. It was so good! and after everything, J would say! ´´This is typical Spanish food´´ I told him how much I love tortilla de patata and his girlfriend MA said she will make me one of my own!! Later that night we had the Ward Party. Christmas Devotional, Talent Show and Dinner and then Dancing! It was really fun!! After the talent show, as we were getting ready for the dinner, Hermana Parrilla yelled my name and I turned and saw E. I have talked about her before in my letters. But she is a friend of a recent convert in our ward. She came to church and family home evening and really liked it. She had a lesson with us and we set a baptismal date for her. After that, we tried to call her to plan for another cita, but we could not get a hold of her. This happened about 3 weeks ago. We were discouraged that she was not interested anymore. As we talked at the ward party she began to tear up and said she would like to talk. We went into the classroom in the church and talked with her. She said that she wants to be better and she knows she can be. We talked about repentance and she said she is going to do everything possible to change. One thing I love about her, is that she asks questions when she doesn´t understand something. Even a word like restitution (she was soaking up everything, and we know because she was asking questions) After we talked, I looked at her and I began to tear up. I told her that I have been thinking about her since we last had a lesson. I told her that when I saw her in the chapel today, I was filled with happiness. We all had a good cry, then she said. ´´What do I have to do to be baptized´´ She´s amazing, and I love her so so so so much. The only sad thing is, is that she isn´t in our area, she´s in the area of the zone leaders. She´s happy to be taught by anyone, and now she has a date for January 4. They have to meet with her everyday for her to be prepared, but she´s ready for it!! Even though we didn´t end up getting a new this day... we helped someone on their way to baptism!
Sunday we had a plan to see the future, J. But she said she couldn´t come. ): Hopefully this week we´ll see her. G came to church and really enjoyed it. Then we had a lesson with her... and HER BOYFRIEND, M.
We taught about the Book of Mormon and he seemed really interested. He is serious about this, and I know that he´ll get an answer and they can learn and grow together. After the lesson, they fed us! So nice! They gave us gifts too... I couldn´t believe it! G gave me a baseball with NEW YORK YANKEES on it. I´m not even mad... it will remind me of her!  I love it so much!! (:

We wanted 8 new investigators this week, and only ended up with 6. I was really bummed that we didn´t meet our goal, but as I´ve been thinking back at this week and remembering the miracle that have happened, there is no way I can be disappointed with our effort. I´m so grateful for the miracles and the mercy of the Lord. I know that I am nothing, and I will boast of the strength of the Lord. I will do all I can to be obedient and bring souls unto Christ.

I hope all of you have a VERY Merry Christmas, and remember all that the Savior as done for us. We are servants in His hands, and I hope we can all live to our potential. I know this church is true, I know my Savior lives and He loves and knows me. I am so grateful for this time of year to serve others and remember the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.

I love you!
Have a Merry Christmas!
Love,
Hermana Sara Brown
